Professional Quality Resume Without the Cost

On average, employers spend less than 30 seconds scanning a resume. To stand out from the crowd you need a good looking, professional quality resume. However spending hundreds of dollars on a resume writer is not always affordable.

Here's how to get the same result for a fraction of the cost. ResumeMaker® which the New York Times called,"...the Arnold Schwarzenegger of resume-writing software," now has a simple online version. It offers an easy "fill in the blanks", step-by-step guide that takes about 20 minutes, with recommended resume phrases along the way, and several sample resumes and cover letters to review - all pre-written by resume writing experts.

The system automatically designs your resume according to your selected "look and feel". You can easily save your finished resume as a Text, Word Processing, HTML or PDF file. You also get a personal resume web page for prospective employers that you can update at any time, and unlimited use of the service for a year. To try it, go to ResumeMaker.com

Recruiters and Head Hunters

When looking for a CAD job, you may want to consider working with a recruiter. Recruiters, otherwise known as head hunters or search consultants, are hired by companies to find candidates for them, and often know about unadvertised jobs.

It's important to note, that recruiters do not charge the job seeker. The company pays a fee, typically when a candidate is hired. When contacting a recruiter send a resume and cover letter just as though you were applying for a job. If a recruiter calls you, always call back - even if you are not currently job hunting. You never know when circumstances might change and you might need job search assistance.

If you don't know of any good recruiters and/or want to instantly have your resume sent to 1000's of recruiters that specialize in people with your skills, one service Resume Mailman can instantly email your resume to to 1000's of targeted recruiters. You can even get a list of the recruiters they forwarded your resume to for follow up.
